Why Soy Wax Candles?

Health & Environment

Soy wax is natural as it is made from vegetable, biodegradable soy beans which are a renewable source.

On the contrary, paraffin wax (commonly used to make candles because it is generally cheaper to produce than soy wax) is made from petroleum (a fossil fuel waste product that cannot be renewed) and it has been found to contain known carcinogens such as benzene.

Performance

Soy candles have lower melting point than paraffin hence you can enjoy a beautiful flame for a much longer time. Also, soy wax absorbs more fragrance than paraffin therefore with the right composition of wax, wick and fragrance oils, the soy wax candles can smell much stronger than paraffin candles.
